Lee Ferran is a freelance journalist based outside Atlanta, Ga. For six years he was a reporter and digital editor in the ABC News Investigative Unit. As he does now, he focused on foreign affairs, national security and cyber security, but also supported long-term domestic projects, including an Emmy Award-winning investigation into the controversial nutrition supplement Herbalife. He has also been the recipient of an Edward R. Murrow Award and a Deadline Club Award for his work in ABC News' coverage of international terrorism.
Prior to the investigative unit, Lee worked for two years on the digital team for ABC News' "Good Morning America". He graduated from Wake Forest University.
