Lee Ferran is currently the managing editor of Breaking Defense. Lee’s been a reporter and editor for more than a decade, mostly for the ABC News Investigative Unit both in New York and Washington, D.C. As he does now, he focused on foreign affairs, national security and cyber security. He is the recipient of two Emmy Awards and numerous nominations, and a Deadline Club Award.
Prior to the Investigative Unit, Lee worked for two years on the digital team for ABC News' "Good Morning America." He also reported for his hometown newspaper, The Gainesville Times. He graduated from Wake Forest University.
